Warranty

All right here's the tough part, trying to outline a warranty policy that makes sense and is still able to be understood by everyone. First step, keep the lawyer away from it, second step, write down all the important aspects in point form, third step, let people know how to contact us if there are any questions. So here goes.

Frames

All our frames come with a 30 day warranty against workmanship defects. If you can't find a defect after 30 days of looking then one probably doesn't exist. We carefully inspect every part before it leaves our premises so the likelihood of there being a problem is pretty minimal. We do this for two reasons. Firstly, we don't want our customers getting crappy products that we wouldn't use ourselves and secondly, we want to ensure all our suppliers are living up to their end of the bargain and not just providing us with great prototype and sample products then slacking off once the order has been placed.

A defect in workmanship is considered to be something that should have been done at the time of manufacturing and wasn't. Examples are missing welds, crooked brake mounts and missing threads. Workmanship defects should be obvious when you look at the frame or attempt to assemble it. So before you begin assembly please inspect your frame closely and if you see any problems please contact us before continuing with the assembly. If we agree there is a problem and there haven't been any modifications since leaving our premises then the frame will be replaced. Please don't attempt to fix the problem yourself as this may void the warranty and mean you might not get a replacement frame. Once again it is stressed that defects in workmanship must be found in the first 30 days after purchase and we must be contacted within that time. You may be asked for proof of purchase.

We will then run through the process of returning the frame and getting a replacement, depending on where you live.

We agree it sucks when something happens to your frame so if a problem develops after the inital 30 days then please contact us and we'll see what we can do to help. We may ask for photos or to inspect the frame. Some possible solutions are to help with repairs or replace it at a reduced price. This offer is on the condition you can provide proof of purchase.

Other Comments

The above warranty is only applicable to the original owner and proof of purchase is usually a receipt detailing your name and the date of purchase. Assuming you can provide this it should be a very smooth process.

We understand that BMX is not ballet dancing and tough products are required. That said, people have been known to abuse warranties when they launch their bikes of cliffs and wonder why parts break. If it is obvious the part has been incorrectly assembled, modified or mistreated then the warranty is void. Normal wear and tear through riding is not covered by this warranty. Unlike some other companies though, we don't not put a clause in about only riding on a sealed path and not to be used for racing or trick riding. Come on, we all know what BMX is, and whilst we all enjoy a cruise along a bike track occasionally, jumping and other stuff is much more fun.

At the end of the day we want to thank you for buying one of our products and we will endeavour to make sure you are happy with the outcome. At the earliest sign that you think there is a problem please contact us to discuss it.
