Golden rule of riding
Was out riding last weekend and hitting up some dodgy local jumps. They always seem to launch me off sideways so you would think I know better. Anyway, I'd had a decent ride and decided, "one more set and I'll head home". Saying this to myself was as good as saying you are going to come off. I'd forgotten the golden rule of riding which is to never say just one more jump. We all know that is the one that does the damage.
The couple of young guys there came over to make sure I was all right. As they were less than half my age they probably thought the old guy would need to be put down. I dusted myself off, said good-bye and headed home. At least the bike held up and no damage.
